LEARNING DESIGN & LEADERSHIP provides you with the opportunity to learn how to create more engaging learning environments by integrating new media technologies. LDL encourages students to be active designers of their own knowledge, in contrast to old teaching, in which knowledge was handed down to them. Students use new digital media to enhance the ways in which they can learn and understand, thus improving the learning process. It also addresses the challenges of differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Instructional technologies such as computer-based instruction, computer-based testing, distance learning, interactive video, and intelligent instructional technologies are covered.

MANAGEMENT OF ELEARNING FOR WORKPLACE LEARNING & TRAINING prepares individuals in leadership, management, and oversight of eLearning initiatives that align technology vision with a strategy for designing and administering training programs in the workplace. This area of study is especially appropriate for individuals who are already employed in an HRD-related professional role and have eLearning as part of their responsibilities.
