Family and guests are cordially invited to join us for the College of Education Convocation on Sunday, May 18, 2025, to recognize the hard work and achievements of our students.
Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. ADA parking and drop-off are available in lot E-24. Metered parking is not enforced on Sunday of Commencement Weekend. For additional parking information, see the Campus Parking Map.
Please note that parking in lot E-38 across from the ARC and near the residence halls is not permitted.
Arrival
Location: ARC, Gym 1 (201 E. Peabody Dr., Champaign, IL 61820) Time: Doors open at 8:00 a.m. CDT. The ceremony begins at 9:00 a.m.
Family members and guests will not be permitted into the graduate entrance. Instead, proceed to the Northeast entrance of the ARC, Gym 1 to be seated.

Convocation Ceremony
The ceremony begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. in the ARC, Gym 1, and is approximately two hours long. This is a non-ticketed event, and seating is general admission. Please arrive no later than 8:45 a.m.
Photography
A professional photographer from GradImages will be taking photos of each graduate during the ceremony. GradImages will send students an email with a color proof and optional purchase information. When
registering to participate in convocation, please encourage your
student to provide a family/parent email address if you would also like
to receive the photo proofs.
Please be courteous of others in attendance andremain seated to keep the aisles clear during the ceremony.
