Oh earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and Child Psychology from Alfred University (New York), her M.S.Ed. in Early Childhood Special Education from Queens College (New York) and her Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Kansas.
Tell us about your research aims.
My research focuses on bi/multilingualism in early childhood (birth to age eight) and immigrant, bilingual family–educator partnerships within early intervention, early childhood, and early childhood special education. My mission is to engage in research that employs humanizing approaches to affirm and support young children without, with, or considered at-risk for disabilities from linguistically, culturally, and racially diverse backgrounds, as well as their families and the educators who serve them
