What does your research focus on?
My research is at the intersection of race, bi/multilingualism and bi/literacies, border crossing, education, and social justice. It focuses on the school experiences of bi/multilingual students from diverse backgrounds, exploring and examining the everyday cultural and linguistic resources that they bring into K-5 biliteracy classrooms. A former bilingual elementary teacher, through my work I aim to offer educators ways to create more socially and linguistically just teaching and learning experiences for all
students.
Congratulations! You've taken the first step to becoming a student of the College of Education. The application process is different for undergraduate and graduate studies.
