My overarching research goal is optimizing early interventions for toddlers with language delays and developing brief interventions to increase the number of families who can access Early Intervention services. ) During my doctoral program, I contributed to an NIH-funded randomized controlled trial on a caregiver-implemented intervention for children with developmental language disorder (DLD). As a certified speech-language pathologist with experience in home-based early intervention and preschool classrooms, I look forward to forward to supporting Special Education students in the classroom and through research opportunities.
