If performance management sets the framework for organizational success, HR professionals are the ones who bring this framework to life. Human resources departments are instrumental in implementing these strategies, making sure that the goals set through performance management are met while also contributing to the growth and development of both employees and the organization as a whole.

Ultimately, HR professionals lead the charge in shaping effective performance management strategies. For those looking to develop their skills, the Human Resource Development program at UIUC College of Education equips professionals with critical skills in strategic human resource management.
