Awardees are cited for sustained excellence and innovation in undergraduate and graduate teaching, undergraduate and graduate advising and mentoring, online teaching and research guidance. The Office of the Provost sponsors the awards.

Dr. Warren-Grice is the founder and CEO of the educational consulting company Liberated Genius and an alumna of the College of Education.

The Illinois Workforce and Education Research Collaboration has partnered with The Illinois Association of Regional Superintendents of Schools (IARSS) to deliver a report examining the teaching shortages in Illinois in 2024.

Span received his Ph.D. from Illinois in 2001 and was a member of the faculty since 2003. He will begin his role as dean on July 1, 2024.

Jennifer Ventimiglia, a Ph.D. candidate in EPOL, was selected for the English Language Specialist Project focusing on environmental issues and sustainable development in Albania.

Osly Flores, an assistant professor in EPOL, will be presented with this award at the AERA annual meeting in Philadelphia, PA on April 12.

Thong Trinh, a Ph.D. Candidate in Education Policy, Organization & Leadership, published an article in the journal about training doctoral students to alleviate the crisis in academic publishing and the importance of nurturing the next generation of scholars.

Mia Chudzik, a Ph.D. candidate in Special Education, was given the award at the Council for Exceptional Children's Annual Meeting.
