Our steadfast goal is to honestly reflect the society in which we live, study, and serve. We offer research experiences and courses that prepare students to engage productively with the complex and interwoven fabric that is our global society—for example, on globalization, critical race theory, cultural diversity, special learning needs, counseling, assessment and evaluation, the effects of bullying, understanding the life-worlds of LGBTQ communities, and offering multiple forms of access to education, including digital learning ecologies.
