Call for Proposals for First Annual College of Education Graduate Student Conference

by The College of Education / Dec 1, 2009

"Join us in Building Communities of Research and Practice"

The College of Education will host the First Annual College of Education Graduate Student Conference (COE GSC), planned and managed by graduate students. Your participation will make this inaugural event a success!

Proposal submissions are being accepted from graduate students representing all COE departments and at all levels of scholarship. Term papers and projects, research specialization capstone projects, early research projects, doctoral dissertations, independent research, and other scholarly work are all welcome. Please submit your proposals for individual and/or co-authored papers, posters, symposia, or alternative formats by Monday, February 22, 2010 at 5pm.

Your participation contributes to the goal of promoting an inclusive, cross-departmental research forum for graduate students. The COE GSC seeks to promote dialogue, encourage collaboration, nurture enthusiasm for research, and provide outlets for high quality research. The COE GSC will showcase excellent graduate student work; provide presenters and attendees with opportunities to network with students, faculty and alumni; receive presentation feedback; identify research collaboration possibilities; nurture the community of researchers; and develop management and organization skills for conference volunteers.

Please consider submitting a proposal for the COE GSC on the conference website. Create your account and submit your proposal.
