Carol Dimopolous, new Ed.D. candidate in Global studies, will present her dissertation research on the human experience of the participants of The Purkal Project, change-makers in social innovation that provides free, world-class education and vocational development in an economically challenged rural community in the Himalayan region of Northern India. In this presentation, she will also provide practical advice on how to the components of her dissertation came together, how her research questions developed, and other challenges she navigated through her doctoral journey as an online student.
