Dean's Distinguished Speaker Series
The College of Education engages faculty and students with leading scholars in various fields of educational scholarship. This series provides rich opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to hear from internationally renowned scholars.
The Goldstick Family Lecture
Acting on their desire to help children and their families in a tangible way, Phillip C. and the late Beverly Kramer Goldstick generously endowed a sustainable training and research program in the area of communication disorders in children and youth in the Department of Special Education at the College of Education at Illinois. The initiative and annual Goldstick Family Lecture continue to provide new methods and practices for families and schools that ensure children with a range of abilities have the opportunity to live as independently as possible in their homes, neighborhoods, and communities. Mr. Goldstick holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois. The generous gifts to the university from him and his wife support student scholarships and a range of programming in the fine arts, athletics, and research.
