Ruedas-Gracia Keynote Speaker for First-Gen Week at Texas State University

Nidia Ruedas-Gracia, assistant professor in the Department of Educational Psychology is invited to be the keynote speaker during First-Gen Week at Texas State University. Ruedas-Gracia's keynote address, titled "The FLI Ride: Developing a First-Generation/Low-Income Story of Success", will outline how first-generation/low-income (FLI, pronounced FLY) college students are trailblazers and can customize their college experience with the support of their institution for optimal success. Ruedas-Gracia's keynote will be held at the LBJ Student Center Ballroom on Thursday, November 9th, 2023.
