CI 507: Schools and FamiliesThis course explores the many disconnects between family engagement strategies and families themselves in prekindergarten through secondary school. We will consider impacts of poverty, immigration, racial differences, culture, and school policies. This course is targeted to those students interested in working with professionals (teachers, social workers, counselors, interventionists, etc.) who work in schools with students and families.
