Education undergraduates to present research at April 18 annual UI Research Symposium

The College of Education will be well represented at this year's Campus Undergraduate Research Symposium, which will be held from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on April 18 in the Illini Union. The event gives undergraduate students the opportunity to present the fruits of their research as well as scholarly and other creative endeavors—especially those undertaken with mentorship from faculty.
"The symposium participants mirror the campus in terms of the depth and breadth of scholarship on display," according to the Chancellor's Blog. "This year’s event will feature presentations from more than 100 departments and academic units representing all 10 undergraduate academic colleges. In one single event, research on tick-borne pathogens will sit alongside the influence of domestic sarcasm."
The following entries will be presented by students from the College of Education. They include 16 oral presentations and six poster presentations in the following subject areas:
