Disability Film Screening and Q&A

Champaign , USA

Event Type: Film Screening

The Special Education Graduate Student Association (SEGSA) is hosting a film screening and Q&A. Funded by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion’s Broadening Inclusion grant, the documentary film is called Hearts of Glass: Cutting-edge food production meets social good in an ambitious experiment to provide year-round produce to a mountain town while providing meaningful employment for community members with disabilities.

Hearts of Glass will be available for viewing March 22 through March 31

You're invited to watch the film independently, then join us for a Q&A on March 28 at 5:30 p.m. CST for a discussion with the directors and other members of our campus community.

More information on how to access the film to come, or email Ricky at raprice3@illinois.edu for further information.

View and listen to an introduction and welcome from the film's director.
