Dr. Heidi Imkur is Director of the Library’s Research Data Service. This is a a campus-wide program that provides the Illinois research community with the expertise, tools, and infrastructure necessary to manage and steward research data.
Dr. Imkur will bring expertise and useful information to exploring the most current approaches and resources for data use and storage, and will also discuss how student and faculty researchers can best create and maintain digital research identities across tools and platforms.
The Bureau of Educational Research is organizing a series of meetings during the semester with informal talks, panels and conversations on research in the college, synergistic research across the University of Illinois and elsewhere, best practices for research, research methods, finding funding or other resources for research, etc. We invite interested faculty, postdocs, students, and staff with a goal to facilitate communication and spark ideas around research across College units. This semester, we will provide a light lunch sponsored by gift funds.
