This talk will focus on approaches to conducting large-scale cognitive research studies that take advantage of web/mobile devices and the strong public interest in the mind and brain. The talk will provide specific examples of how massive online experiements provide new opportunities for understanding cognition and health across the lifespan - while also increasing public engagement in science and providing benefit to participant communities.
