“Your Major Doesn’t Matter Because You Are Not Your Major” – hear UIUC alumna Marjorie Mizes discuss her alternative career path after receiving a BA in special and elementary education. Ms. Mizes taught for two years, and then she began her career in publishing – first in sales and then in executive positions for Kaplan, Thomas Reuters, and currently, Reed Elsevier (RELX). Besides holding profit and loss responsibilities for RELX businesses, Ms. Mizes helps to advance the RELX Global Corporate Responsibility mission with employees and customers.
