Speaker Information: Andrew Ross, Tommaso Bardelli, and Aiyuba Thomas

Andrew Ross, Tommaso Bardelli, and Aiyuba Thomas are the co-authors of Abolition Labor: The Fight to End Prison Slavery. They have collaborated to shed light on the national movement to end forced labor in American prisons. Their book draws on interviews with formerly incarcerated individuals from states including Alabama, Texas, Georgia, and New York, providing a comprehensive view of prison labor conditions. The authors aim to highlight the systematic issues within the prison labor system and advocate for the rights of incarcerated workers. Dinner will be served.
