During this session, you will learn about the online Middle Grades Graduate Certificate:
The Graduate Certificate in Middle Grades Education:
Aligns with ISBE standards
Includes adolescent development, content methods, general methods
Offers opportunities for full-year practicum in middle school
100% faculty-taught
Complete coursework in 18 months (Summer 2024, Fall 2024, Spring 2025, Summer 2025)

Credit Hours:33-37 | TuitionCosts: $510 per credit hour *| Program Length: 18 months

The Middle Grades Education program is offered with endorsement options in two areas: Literacy and Science, and culminates with licensure to teach learners in grades 5-8. Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant content area are eligible for the program. Graduates of the Middle Grades Certificate program may apply their coursework toward a master’s degree.
