Faculty Orientation

Welcome to Education.Online!

This site contains tutorials for faculty designed to provide an essential introduction to the Education Online environment.  The modules below are available in video, text (or both). They have been developed to help you become comfortable with the software and navigation you will use when you build and manage your online courses.

Courses offered by Education Online are composed of asynchronous sessions (Moodle: Learning Management System) and synchronous sessions (Elluminate: real-time/live collaborative environment).
To see a sample (moodle) course exemplifying high quality graphics and instructional design, please click HERE and then click the 'Login as a guest' button.

In order to help you become more comfortable communicating online with your students, we provide live practice sessions one week before your first scheduled session in the Elluminate synchronous space.
