The primary purpose of the Bureau of Educational Research is to enhance College of Education faculty prospects for securing campus and external research funding by disseminating funding opportunity information, facilitating research collaboration with colleagues inside and outside the College, and supporting grant proposal development and submission.
It also provides limited assistance to graduate students seeking external funding for pre doctoral and dissertation research.
Bureau staff provide up-to-date electronic funding opportunity announcements as well as resources on this web site. The Bureau also performs targeted funding searches, using on-line funding resources and databases, and conducts periodic research associated seminars. The Associate Dean for Research and Research Education and the Bureau team offer one-on-one consultation with individual faculty by appointment.
The Bureau sponsors an annual Seminar Series featuring College Distinguished Scholars, Faculty Fellows, and invited external speakers. It also develops and maintains the College Faculty Research Profiles.
