The Diversity & Equity in Education (DE) concentration is a socially conscious, justice-oriented graduate program designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills to address and transform issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in P–20 learning environments. Students enrolled in this program will earn a Master of Education (EdM) in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership with a concentration in Diversity and Equity in Education. Through a dynamic and interdisciplinary curriculum, courses empower K–12 educators, higher education professionals, and organizational leaders to critically examine educational policies and practices, challenge inequities, and implement strategies that promote inclusive and equitable learning spaces for all. The program fosters a deep understanding of systemic inequalities and prepares graduates to become change agents within their schools, institutions, and communities.
