Wright holds a Ph.D. in Education Theory and Policy from Penn State University, where she served as a research assistant and postdoctoral researcher on the Gates Foundation-funded Student Voice to Student Outcomes project.
What does your research focus on?
“My scholarship examines how educators and learners respond to policy and organizational change. I began my career as a classroom teacher, where I witnessed the disconnect between the realities of classroom practice and the research and policy decisions intended to shape it. I also currently serve as Principal Investigator of a Spencer Foundation-funded study investigating how teacher educators and school leaders navigate censorship and curriculum restrictions in K-12 schools."
Congratulations! You've taken the first step to becoming a student of the College of Education. The application process is different for undergraduate and graduate studies.
