What does your research focus on?
“My work centers on the use of diverse young adult literature and multimodal texts in the secondary English Language Arts classroom. I strive to contextualize the broader terms of research on the representations of Black girls in middle grade and young adult literature and the ways in which that representation can aid in their identity formations and affirmations, as well as creating avenues for them to amplify and create their own stories.”
Congratulations! You've taken the first step to becoming a student of the College of Education. The application process is different for undergraduate and graduate studies.
