Program Resources
After you’ve registered, here are some additional resources you will have access to:
- Writing Assistance: Academic Outreach and the Writers’ Workshop have teamed up to offer online writing assistance to online graduate students. More information is available here.
- Library Access: UIUC Library Resources are available electronically, through the mail, and by visiting physical libraries.
- U of Illinois Bookstore: http://www.uofibookstore.uiuc.edu
- Student Identication (i-card): The i-card gives students borrowing privileges at the ILCSO consortium libraries (academic libraries throughout Illinois) and also serves as the University of Illinois identification card. The i-card is available by completing the ID request form (to get a pictureless version) or by visiting the UIUC ID Center (to get a student card with your photo).
- ICES Online: ICES is the University of Illinois' course evaluation system. ICES online is the new online version of the old paper forms. Access the tutorial to familiarize yourself or for assistance later in the course/program.
- Leaving the Urbana Campus: This page contains information about what happens to your accounts when you leave campus.
- World Clock : You can check current local times around the world here.

- EduBlogs Tutorial: Edublogs hosts hundreds of thousands of blogs for teachers, students, researchers, professors, librarians, administrators and anyone and everyone else involved in education.
- Blogger Tutorial: Creating your blog with Blogger takes just a few easy steps. In a matter of minutes you can start posting text, photos, videos, and more to your blog.
- WordPress Tutorial: WordPress.com is open source blogging software.
- PBwiki Tutorial: PBwiki is one of powerful tools for collaboration.
