2: Passwords
Passwords you need to create/change
This section will explain how to begin acquiring your passwords after you receive your master "Bluestem" NetID and password from the university. Please note that your Net ID, Enterprise ID and AD login will be the same throughout your time at UIUC.
However, each password may be different. For most systems you’ll have the option to change your initial password once you’ve logged in for the first time. In addition, you will have a seperate login and password for accessing Eduacation Online live sessions (Elluminate login/password). Please refer to the following for more information.
1. University Login/Passwords
Net ID Claiming Service: If necessary, you'll be receiving an email with details about claiming your NetID for the first time. You CANNOT proceed without doing this first. All students must claim their NetIDs to activate their University accounts (email, course access, registration, etc). Please click here to claim your NetID, if you have not already done so.
