Learning Design & Leadership

The Learning Design and Leadership (LDL) Campus Graduate Certificate (CERT) will prepare you for practices in a wide range of sites, including formal education from K-12 to higher education, workplace and community settings, and informal learning. The course work consists of Learning & Human Development, e-Learning, technology and education, advanced learning technologies, assessment for learning, and how technology and education impact each other. Students can also use the course credits for advanced degree programs upon admission. The LDL CERT is for learning professionals who aspire to apply the theories and practices of learning in the context of digital media and learner diversity. The LDL CERT covers foundational knowledge and competencies in Learning Design and Leadership for practical application purposes in a learning environment. In addition, the coursework will help learners develop skills in various topical areas (e.g., e-Learning, utilizing technology in learning, pedagogy and learner diversity, remote or online learning solutions, gamification, and simulations). The LDL CERT meets many increasing needs of the science and practice of learning in institutions of education, informal communities, and civic and workplace settings.
