The Instructional System Design Management and Leadership (ISDML) specialization is for individuals who are aspired to design technology-enriched and -enabled learning systems for broadly defined learning and performance goals in workplace contexts. The ISDML Specialization is meeting many needs of workplaces to expand their learning and development modalities, in response to their organizational needs as well as major systemic changes, such as a pandemic.
This specialization covers foundational knowledge and competencies in instructional system design and learning technologies. In addition, the coursework will help learners develop skills in various topical areas (e.g., project management, program evaluation, consulting with organizations). The estimated time to complete this specialization ranges from 8 to 12 months depending on an individual student’s plan and the course availability.

The ISDML specialization is open to all degree-seeking and non-degree seeking students with eligible baccalaureate credentials.
