Global Studies in Education

Global Studies in Education (GSE) deals with global change and education from social justice and critical democracy perspectives. The program focuses on the globalization of policy, pedagogy in different contexts including online environments, and children and youth studies.

Typical Plan of Study (minimum 32 hours)

Master degree requirements

0 hours

All Master's degree students must complete a minimum 12 credit hours coursework at the 500 level in Education.

Required Courses- Select 3 courses from the following.

12 hours

Select 1 Educational Policy, Organization and Leadership Foundations Course

4 hours

Select 3 Elective Courses

12 hours

Sample of elective courses, courses should be chosen in consultation with advisor.
