Doctor of Philosophy

Quantitative Methodology, Measurement and Evaluation (QUERIES)

Working in four specializations - measurement, statistics, evaluation, and research design - QUERIES faculty and students are concerned with developing and applying new methodologies and becoming involved with multiple research activities.

Typical Plan of Study (minimum 64 hours)

Core coursework chosen in consultation with advisor

32 hours

No more than 12 hours of 595 independent study can count towards the degree

Basic Research Methodology Courses

4 - 8 hours

Advanced Research Methodology Courses

4 - 12 hours

Thesis Research

4 - 20 hours
