Counseling Psychology

Our program is based upon a scientist-practitioner orientation to counseling psychology, viewing research and practice as interdependent and complementary. Research is considered a fundamental and integral dimension of our program.

Typical Plan of Study (minimum 64 hours)

Select 1 Education Policy, Organization and Leadership Foundations Course

4 hours

Required for students entering without a master's degree.

Assessment course

4 hours

Chosen in consultation with advisor

Diversity course

4 hours

Other courses may fulfill this requirement, with advisor approval.

APA Psychological Foundations requirements
