Curriculum Research, Early Childhood Education, Aesthetics & Teacher Education (CREATE)

Students and faculty in Curriculum, Aesthetics, and Teacher Education (CATE) have a major focus in one or more of the three primary areas: curriculum, aesthetics, and teacher education; and choices within several sub-areas: early childhood, middle grades, secondary, and social studies education.

Select 1 Educational Policy, Organization and Leadership Foundations Course

4 hours

Additional 400- or 500-level Electives with advisor approval

12 hours

599 thesis research credit and 595 independent study can be applied up to a maximum of 8 hours.

Electives in Education with advisor approval

12 hours

Courses should be chosen in consultation with advisor. 599 thesis research credit not included.
