Grad Student, Counseling Psychology
Ravon is a first-year PhD student in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of Illinois. Prior to joining the TRIAD Lab, he earned a B.A. in Psychology from Oakwood University. Broadly, his research aims to explore how psychological trauma impacts Black and/or African American boys and men. More specifically, he is interested in creating and implementing culturally informed interventions that mitigate the harmful impact of trauma and promote positive growth and development. Outside of Academia, Ravon enjoys listening to music, baking, watching shows/films, and a nice cup of coffee or tea.
