Tell us about your professional credentials and expertise.

I am a licensed psychologist in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri. Additionally, I received board certification in Forensic Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in 2024 and am one of approximately 360 board-certified forensic psychologists in the nation and one of only 16 licensed in Illinois. Before coming on board at U. of I., I previously served as a clinical assistant professor of Psychiatry at Southern Illinois University Medical School.

What will your role look like at Illinois?

Within the College of Education and affiliate units across campus, I will teach graduate courses in psychopathology and psychological assessment. I will provide clinical supervision for graduate students and offer assessment expertise as an affiliate of DRES. Plus, I will continue to offer didactic and applied forensic experience to medical students and psychiatry residents at Carle Illinois College of Medicine and routinely consult with court systems across the Midwest.
