Stephens Named Academic All-Big Ten, CSC All-District

Congratulations to Illinois Women's Soccer Player and Early Childhood Education major Sydney Stephens on being named to the fall 2023 Academic All-Big Ten Team.
Stephens, a midfielder, Stephens ranked second on the team in goals (4) and points (10). To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team, enrolled full-time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months, and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Stephens was also named 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District. All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
