#11 Best Graduate School among public universities - U.S. News and World Report

The College's overall graduate school rankings moved higher for 2025, hitting #11 among 175 public colleges ranked and tied for #31 among the 258 combined public and private colleges that submitted data for the rankings.

Along with improved overall numbers, U.S. News & World Report gave high marks to all eight of the College of Education’s on-campus graduate programs that were evaluated. The rankings, released today, have Curriculum & Instruction and Special Education grad programs securing spots in the top 10, nationally.

  • #11  Educational Psychology programs
  • #14  Educational Administration programs
  • #15  Elementary Teacher Education programs
  • #17  Higher Education Administration programs
  • #20  Education Policy programs

Additionally, the College's overall Online Master's in Education Degree Programs were ranked #3 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in January of this year.
