Join us for day two of this conference and workshop series, focused on Sustainability Education, the Global South, and Social Justice on Thursday, August 17, 2023.. Day two panelists will explore participatory and place-based approaches to evaluation in the Global South as well as social resilience in education as a tool for community capacity-building to respond to the effects of climate change.
The day will feature prominent sustainability education researcher Dr. Edgar J. González-Gaudiano, youth climate activists from Rise Up Climate Movement in Uganda, and keynote speaker Dr. Angelique V. Nixon, University of the West Indies, author of Resisting Paradise: Tourism, Diaspora, and Sexuality in Caribbean Culture.
