Associate Professor H. Chad Lane of the Department of Educational Psychology will give a day-two talk at The Promise of Artificial Intelligence: Present and Future Symposium at Kuwait University, Khaldiya.

Lane's talk, titled "Why Cognitive and Emotional Details Matter in Education," will cover how artificial intelligence is being used for fine-grained assessment and to support learning across contexts. The presentation will be moderated by Thalaya Al-Fouzan, a professor of computer science.
