Event Type: Seminar/Symposium

This teach-in has been organized in response to the global discourse and policies that have negatively affected immigrant families in Urbana-Champaign. The College of Education is hosting this event in an effort to have an active voice in supporting immigrant families and students who are involved with or attend local school districts, the College, and the University.

The invited speakers will be:

Amanda Harris (Urbana Adult Education Center)
Gio Guerra (La Casa Cultural Latina)
Lucia Maldonado (Urbana Middle School)
I-Cause (student representative)
Vivian Presiado (moderator)

Lunch will be provided by Maize.
