The College of Education at Illinois will host an April 21 session to support immigrant students and families in the college and community.

This teach-in has been organized in response to the global discourse and policies that have negatively affected immigrant families in Urbana-Champaign. The College of Education is hosting this event in an effort to have an active voice in supporting immigrant families and students who are involved with or attend local school districts, the College, and the University.
The invited speakers will be:

Lucia Maldonado (Urbana Middle School)

Vivian Presiado (moderator)
Lunch will be provided by Maize.
