The 5th annual Community & Campus Day of Service (CCDOS) is coming up on April 8, 2017. Over 1,000 volunteers participate in this community-wide event each year, logging thousands of hours of volunteering time on this day alone. CUVolunteer, Illini Fighting Hunger, Eastern Illinois Foodbank, and a host of other University and community groups have worked together to make this event possible.
Learn how Illini Fighting Hunger and Feeding Our Kids are helping fight hunger in our community. Plus, you’ll have an opportunity to taste the meals you’ll be packaging, using several recipes designed by Illini Fighting Hunger and Nutrition students at the U of I.
There is still time for you to get involved in the Day of Service! Join CCDOS by registering for the Food Packaging Project or letting us know about your own community service project.
Cost: Free and open to the public.
