Edthena, a Video Reflection Tool for Students

Online, via Zoom

Event Type: Professional Development

Edthena is a video reflection tool that allows students to record and share presentations, peer teaching and classroom instruction for peer/instructor feedback and for practice reflecting on their own instruction and best practices in teaching. Edthena is one of the tools the College of Education acquired as a tool to support remote teaching and learning this year. The purpose of this webinar is to introduce you to Edthena as well as some ways it is being used on campus and across the country with pre-service and in-service teachers to reflect on peer teaching and classroom instruction as well as to facilitate remote supervision. We currently have licenses available for Edthena.

Adam Geller, the CEO of Edthena and Rob McCreary, a member of the Partner Success Team will demonstrate the use of Edthena. Our very own Lynn Burdick, Faculty Development Coordinator in Curriculum & Instruction, who is our resident expert on Edthena, will also participate and share her experiences about Edthena. We will finish up with a discussion of how you can get access to Edthena and support for integration of the tool into your instruction.
