The Afro Language and Cultural Exchange (ALCE) is a new initiative on campus created to assist students—especially black and African students—who are interested in African languages and cultures, study abroad programs, scholarship and fellowship resources, and other culturally enhancing opportunities. It also offers a place for students to network and transition smoothly into the community. ALCE members will be on hand at the launch event to answer questions, highlight opportunities and resources, and introduce staff and faculty. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
