Global Studies in Education Ed.M. Info Session - Education at Illinois, Online Programs

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Education is hosting an information session for the Global Studies in Education master’s in education (Ed.M.) and graduate certificate programs. We invite you to participate in this event and join an online Master of Education program that is top in value in terms of quality and price.

This session will focus on the following online Global Studies in Education Programs:

  • Master of Education (Ed.M.).
  • Graduate Certificates.

During this session, you will learn about:

  • Eligibility.
  • Program structure.
  • Admissions.
  • Career paths.

The coursework consists of content related to:  

  • Global change and education from social justice and critical democracy perspectives.
  • The globalization of policy, pedagogy in different contexts, including online environments, and children and youth studies.
  • Education structures around the world

The program is designed for working educators from around the world who aspire to: 

  • Engage in the scholarly exploration of education and global change.
  • Apply the perspectives of social justice and equity, global citizenship, and critical democracy into their work.
  • Become education leaders, innovators, and researchers for today’s globalized world.

Alumni have held positions such as:

  • Multicultural Education Specialist

Students completing a Graduate Certificate can apply the course credits earned toward a master’s or doctorate program in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership, upon admission to those programs.
