We are also thrilled to partner with Cobbleston Collective to bring you a free, statewide coding event for ALL Illinois 4th–8th grade educators! Here are details:
"Join us on Wednesday, September 22 from 11 a.m. to noon as we learn to code alongside Googlers using CS First. Together, we’ll learn about the importance of computer science and start coding our first program using CS First: Code Your Own Hero!
You and your class will also receive a second coding lesson to use in the future, whenever it fits with your class schedule. The second coding lesson explores music and sound.
The best part? No prep work or coding experience is required! We’ll facilitate the lesson, guide your students where they need to be, and answer any questions along the way!"
Please make plans to join us for this virtual conference. Links for registration and more information below. Help advertise the 2021IllinoisState K-12 CS Education Summit by forwarding this notice to your colleagues!
