Bloodborne Pathogens Training: {Through CoTE; online training. Complete prior to Year I Fall & Year II Fall clinical placements}

Safety Training Instructions: {Through CoTE; online training. Complete prior to first clinical placement}

Mandated Reporter Training: {Through CoTE; in person training. Complete prior to first clinical placement}

 

Early Field Experiences

CI 401 (Year 1 Spring)

By the end of the semester, all students will complete the following: Submit hours online in student portal; submit paperwork to 120 EDUC (CoTE Bloodborne Pathogens Questionnaire, two lesson evaluations (with student name and all required signatures); ensure cooperating teacher has completed the online final evaluation through the cooperating personnel portal.

Failure to turn in paperwork and complete the online time report will result in a missing grade for CI 401 and an inability to advance to the fall placement.

By the end of the semester, all students will complete the following: Submit hours online in the student portal; complete and submit the Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) questionnaire to supervisor; submit the online midterm and final self- evaluations through the student portal; ensure cooperating teacher has completed the online midterm and final evaluations through the cooperating personnel portal.

Failure to turn in documents and complete the online time report and evaluations will result in a missing grade for CI 403 and an inability to advance to the spring placement.
