Now Accepting Applications from In-service Teachers for Global Fieldwork

Applications for global fieldwork in 2018-1019 are now open for in-service teachers. Join teachers, faculty and students from the College of Education on travels to schools abroad for research and collaboration. Choose from 14 different locations including Singapore, Costa Rica, Australia, and Spain. View the full list of opportunities.

Teachers are eligible to participate in three ways:

1) Graduate credit. Four credits of non-degree or graduate credit toward an Illinois degree. Waivers from collaborative teaching can be used. 

2) Professional development. Hours depend on the length of the trip (three to 12 range). 

3.) Join the trip and receive no course credit but experience life-changing travels. Apply for a program.

This year we are pleased to announce a fellowship for practicing teachers ranging from $500 to $1,500, funded in part by the Department of Education VI grant. To apply:
