Success of dual-language programs spurring a new kind of teaching

Dual-language education is becoming more common around the country, including in Champaign-Urbana. The increasingly popular concept combines native speakers of English and Spanish in the same classroom, with the goal of getting students to speak and read in two languages long before they reach high school.
