Dorothy Espelage interviewed about America's bullying 'epidemic'

Professor of Educational Psychology Dorothy Espelage was interviewed for a soundcloud by Latitude News on America's bullying epidemic. Espelage has conducted research on bullying, homophobic teasing, sexual harassment, and dating violence for the past 19 years. As a result, she presents regularly at regional, national, and international conferences.

JUNE 3, 2013, LATITUDE NEWS — Bullying in school makes headlines with depressing regularity. It’s become a cause célèbre—outspoken advocates include Lady Gaga, Ellen DeGeneres and Stephen Colbert—and, understandably, the media focus has been on tragic stories of young people committing suicide after relentless bullying. So if you had to rank the U.S. on how our bullying problem sizes up with other countries, where do you think we would land?
