Education breeds confidence. Confidence breeds hope. Hope breeds peace. – Confucius

No other civilization can match China’s breadth of history, culture, and overall global influence. For thousands of years, China’s education system has been the envy of the world. Even today, China continues to consistently score at the top of world rankings in education. In this rare opportunity to meet directly with education students and local teachers, you will get a chance to learn about Chinese education practice from the inside. You will spend time in classrooms and meet your colleagues in education. Ask questions, share, and discuss education with the educators and students from this global powerhouse of education.

This two-week study abroad trip will take you to visit three cities in China: Beijing, Xian, and Chongqing. You will visit Chinese schools, meet local teachers and education students, and learn about Chinese culture and education. In addition to schools, you will also explore the cultural touchstones of this country, gaining a deeper appreciation of the historical, philosophical and political context of historical and modern day China. Plus, you will visit the Great Wall of China in Beijing, see the Terracotta warriors in Xian, and so much more!
